We have a calendar packed with events for the whole family! As an entirely volunteer run organization, we couldn't hold all these events without help. Please check out our volunteer sign-up page if you would like to lend a hand in bringing an event to life this year!
september
Kick off Party at the Kaycee Pool
We started the year with a splash at the KayCee Pool! All were welcome at this community wide event to celebrate the beginning of our 65th year as a PTA!
October
Gift Away Day at the Audelia Library
Members are encouraged to bring their passions and talents to the LHAECPTA in order to make the group what they need during this stage of life. We were thrilled to partner with the Audelia Library for our first Gift Away Day, benefiting over 200 attendees and making an impact with Vickery Meadow Food Pantry.
October Meeting with Speaker
Our October meeting was held at the Audelia Library during the daytime with free childcare and lunch provided for attendees. Attendees learned about the Children's Mental Health Crisis in America from our speaker, Beth Wuller of Neugroove. Although the statistics are shocking, we saw how a strong community that works together to care of all children can make a difference for the mental health of our children.
Halloween Carnival
We loved partnering with Kiddie Krafts Preschool for a second year to bring Halloween fun to our wider community. We had over 450 people attend this year to enjoy a Trunk or Treat, Bounce Houses for both the big kids and little ones, Snow Cones, Balloon Artist, Face Painting, Food Truck and more!

Members Playdate at Cheeky Monkey
Members are invited to join us at Cheeky Monkey for an all PTA Playdate to include Balloon Artist and Dinner for the kids! Come get that energy out before the weekend ends!
New Member Social Game Night
New and veteran members are invited to a game night where we will bring everyone up to speed on navigating the LHAECPTA. Come meet other new members and learn tips from veterans about getting the most out of this community.

General Meeting featuring A Play Filled Life
Our November meeting will feature Gina Gendron, creator of A Play Filled Life, LLC. During this presentation attendees will learn the benefits of sensory play, how to set up a safe sensory space, storage tips, and ways to incorporate learning experiences. You will also learn ways to strengthen motor skills, support self regulation and enhance language and vocabulary all through PLAY! Members are invited to sign up to reserve materials to create a sensory bin to take home.

LHJWL Light Up the Highlands
We are excited to be a sponsor of the LHJWL 10th annual Light Up the Highlands Event this year! Come see us at a table near the bounce houses to connect with other members or to learn more about our organization. Event Information — Lake Highlands Junior Women's League
Grinch Day Winter Party
Members are invited to join us for a special Grinch Day to spend time together as the holiday season ramps up. Enjoy crafts, snacks, bounce houses and more. Be sure to take a moment to snuggle up for a quick read of The Grinch with your kiddo!

We are excited to partner with Ms. Stacey, founder of Play.Play.Play again this year for a sensory filled evening at Skyview Elementary. Children will be able to participate in crafts, slime making, sensory, and open ended play.
