Scholarship Application

Details

 

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a scholarship, an applicant must:

1. Residency: Student must reside in the DFW Metroplex.


2. Academic Achievement: Student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.


3. Volunteer Hours: Student must have completed at least 30 hours of volunteer service with LHAECPTA unless their parent is or was an LHAECPTA member.


4. Extracurricular Involvement: Student must participate in at least one extracurricular activity at their school.


5. Essay Submission: Applicants must write a 500-word essay reflecting on an experience from their early childhood that positively influenced their life.



6. Fill out this form in its entirety and submit it (an email "receipt" will be sent to you with a copy of your submission)

 

7. Submit two recommendations 1 letter from a teacher or school counselor, and 1 letter from a community leader or volunteer supervisor 

 

Deadline

This application must be submitted on-line on or before February 2nd.
