The Lake Highlands Area Early Childhood PTA (LHAECPTA) is gearing up for another exciting year for parents and children alike. We are currently seeking Sponsors, and are asking for your support to make this next year a success!
Why choose to sponsor and support LHAECPTA?
The LHAECPTA has been serving the Lake Highlands area since 1959 and is one of its oldest organizations. We are a community-wide, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children, equipping parents of preschoolers (ages birth – 5 years) with valuable parenting tools and enriching the community. We offer friendships that last a lifetime by joining together for a common cause: to raise happy, healthy, and loved children.
How is the LHAECPTA different from other PTAs?
We are different from the traditional PTA as we are not affiliated with a school. However, we are part of the RISD Council of PTAs and have lasting connections to the schools that feed into Lake Highlands High School. The LHAECPTA was created using Texas State PTA policies and guidelines. As such, we are an official chapter of the Texas PTA.
Why commit to Sponsorship early?
We are 100% volunteer-driven and depend on the support of community businesses to help us keep membership dues low and enable access for all families. Our fiscal year runs July through June. Now is the best time to commit to enjoy all the benefits we offer our sponsors.
How does LHAECPTA use in-kind donations from Sponsors?
The funds we raise throughout the year not only help with the production of our member events, but also enable us to give back to the community. Each month we host a community service event. We strive to incorporate the children in these types of service events to instill empathy and inclusion at an early age. Examples of our community service events include coat and mitten drives, school supply donations to Title 1 campuses, donate dry and canned goods to Feed Lake Highlands, host pet adoptions with proper pet care education seminars, create care packages for refugee families, and donate books to preschool programs so every child has access to reading material. We also help support the preschool programs at schools that have limited on-campus PTA involvement or funds. In-Kind donations for our events allow us to direct PTA funds to the community.
LHAECPTA has been able to do great things with the support from our amazing Sponsors!
